Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
If you’ve sauntered past the windows in your local mall or flipped through a fashion mag recently, you’ve no doubt discovered a barrage of ’70s-inspired silhouettes, patterns, colours, and fabrics. Almost overnight, denim cutoffs have been replaced with flare jeans. Overgrown floral patterns and paisley are running wild on dresses. And if there’s one must-have material for fall, it’s suede.
For many of us, these hallmarks of hippie style are a little intimidating — especially after spending the past few seasons perfecting our take on ’90s throwbacks.
So please pretend you are reading this as if the leaves have started changing into vivid red, yellow and orange. Regardless of what time of year it is, monochrome never ever goes out of fashion. There must be something special with the white and black matrimony, but I can honestly say I never get bored of seeing these two colours paired together.
